The Finance Department consists of the Director of Finance, Deputy Treasurer, Accounts Payable Clerk, Qualified Purchasing Agent, Payroll Clerk, Tax Collector, Tax Assessor, and Sewer Clerk. The Director of Finance/Treasurer oversees the entire Finance Department, prepares and manages the budget, balances the general ledger and prepares all the financial documents to be filed with the State, tracks debt and pay down of such debt and maintains all the financial records of the Township. The Deputy Treasurer processes revenues, reconciles bank accounts and tracks engineering escrow. The Accounts Payable Clerk processes all accounts payable through an encumbrance system. The Payroll Clerk processes payroll and handles personnel benefits. The Tax Collector bills and collects property taxes. The Sewer Collector is responsible for billing and collecting sewer payments. The sewer due dates have a 30-day grace period. If payments are received after the 30 days, interest will be accrued.
